Really sick

I was sick during the last weekend and doctor gave MC to me on monday (21/4/08). After taking medicines recovered for 2 days. Last night the fever came back...so unbearable when whole body aching due to fever, this morning woke up but the fever getting worst. I felt guilty if I took medical leave again today so just fight with my immune system and go to work.

Took commuter train to work and slept through the journey before arriving at Bank Negara. Feel restless if I didn't manage to finish my work today. Monday and Friday was the busier day for me to release those orders to be scheduled during the weekend where operations staff worked on alternate saturday.

Busy till lunch, Azlan called me to join them for lunch with Ben and Jun. Tengah sakit teruk ni lagi nak ajak makan pizza...uish ! I went to meet them at Maju Junction Pizza Hut but too late for me to say "NO" because they have ordered for me so just eat lor.

Back from lunch, drop by at the nearby clinic. Doctor take a check on me and said I'm still fever..hehe. Kalau doctor tahu Saya makan pizza tadi...habis mesti kena marah :-) Somehow it's already nearly 2.30pm, doctor granted me a half day MC...laaaa...dah kerja 3/4 hari pun.

Back to office, I pass the MC to my boss for signatory. Guess what ? My boss said you look ok to me, I replied : Yah, i just got fever since last night and feel whole body aching now. My close buddy (mud) came to my office to pick me up and sent me home..really thanks to him, so much caring :-)

Condolence to my best friend

I was shocked to received a sms at 3.50am on saturday morning from my close malay buddy saying his father has pass away due to Asthma attack. I even woke my mum up to informed. I felt so sympathy for my friend, his respectful father never re-marry after the wife has pass away so many years. He even work hard and take care of 3 children at home. The eldest son is my close buddy, his youngest brother is graduate in architect but unfortunately last september his spinal was infected by virus and make him can't walked till today.

I attended his father funeral in the morning of saturday, I'm the only chinese among all my malay buddies. I couldn't hold back my tears too by seeing my friend lost his father.

God bless u and your family, my close buddy (mud). Hope the 3 of your in the family are given more strenght by the god and bless with bright destinations.

Kapas-Marang International Swimathon 2008

It was a yearly swimathon event organised by the state government of Terengganu. All of my friends already plan a year ahead to brush up and improved their time on swimming. I'm the only one who knew last minute about their participate. I just follow to sign up without having enough time to do training at all.

We have 9 people in our team ( 8 males and 1 female ), 7 of them drive from Klang to Terengganu, myself and my best friend (Bukhari) go by bus. We arrived in marang at 4am and my friend went for prayer in the masjid, myself just sit outside masjid to wait for my friend until he finished perform his prayer.

We walked to the marang jetty just behind the masjid. Wah..noticed the sky look so beautiful before sunrise. Here are some nice pictures taken :-

After breakfast, we adjourned to register before transfered by speedboat to Pulau Kapas.

Kapas island, look at the water is so calm actually current under water is quite strong. We are going to swim from pulau kapas to pantai kelulut, marang on the next day at 7.30am..scary, tension and pressure :-( never in my life I dare to take up this challenge to swim in open sea 6.5km under strong current not considering the deep sea and the scary sea creatures. Oh my godness, it's really a spirit challenge. Dah sign up pun, terpaksa cuba jer la...

It's not all about the money but is the spirit challenge is come in place. Think back how many people dare to swim at open sea under strong current and sting by those sea creatures?

Oh..nooooo...the race will be start in 1 hour, after breakfast. We check out from the chalet at 6.30am and proceed to second registration and body marking for individual registration no.

Upon waiting for the race to start, lily gan ( The only female in our team) who called by NTV 7 to describe about pulau kapas in mandarin..sempat lagi interview...hehe. She's one of the participant who managed to complete the 6.5km swimathon..syabas to her :-) A strong female who worried so much about the ocean current, jelly fish and deep sea earlier.

I think I should said if swimmers win in this competition, I don't feel proud of them except this OKU team is the one who I respect the most. All of them make it to finishing line with either a pair of hand or a pair of legs.

Prayers for Cheng Meng

Prayers for Nenek and Atuk ( Cheng Meng )

Today woke up at 6am, drive mum to go for cheng meng prayers at my Nenek and Atuk grave. I was prepared to face the jam but didn’t expect it would be so bad, stranded in the car for more than 3 hours…terrible. Tak breakfast lagi tu, kesian my mum :-(

Terrible jammed

Reaching the place, car can’t go up to the hill, not much choice I have :-( I parked my car and walked to find my nenek & atuk grave. So many years I didn’t visited their grave since I move to my new house…find and find…couldn’t find. I’m so worry because the whole place was so much changes…so much worried…sweating under the hot sun. I asked my mum to wait for me from far with an umbrella so she don’t have to walked with me since my car can’t drive up due to the jammed. As I walked and find under the hot sun, my mum was looking at me from far till I found. It take me almost 45minutes to find, I almost lost and almost cry if I can’t find since I come so far….keep praying and speak out “Atuk..Nenek..where are you? Let me find your grave. I almost drop my tear”. The moment I found my grandparent grave I’m so happy. Below is the pictures I took from my grandparent grave. so nice..still maintained clean :-)

CNY gift from my company

As usual every year when Chinese New Year festive season is coming, my company will give a small gift to everyone in the office as a token. This year I got a packet of Mushroom, 2 packets of groundnut, some oranges and lime oranges. Don’t mistake about the new dollars notes, that’s mine…hehe. I changed it from the bank to give my mum for preparing “ang pow” and the empty packets of small ang pow envelope was given by the bankers.

Last December’07, I took my mum for a vacation to Bangkok. I met a plain cloth Thai policeman in front of central world shopping mall while I’m taking the photo of 5 faces Buddha statue located in front of the shopping mall.

I was told by the policeman that the jewellery distributor mainly supply to POH KONG Jewellery in Malaysia was having promotion on all gem stone, diamond, ruby stone, blue sapphire stone and etc from 20% to 25% on top of manufacturer price. This special promotion only opens to public for one day in a year only. My mum always wanted to have a Blue Sapphire Stone with diamond pendant. It’s really my lucky day…thanks to the Thai policeman.

Blue monday and busy with management reporting

Since last friday is a public holiday for KL, for sure today I'll be busy preparing reports for my Finance Director. As usual I wake up at 6am and prepare to go to work. Reached office at 7.45am, since no one come in yet then I take this opportunity to print out those required reports before my colleagues came in...too bad only 2 laser jet printers..hehe.

Before start prepare my report, I take a cross check on CAMS first..wah..seem like there are few transactions amounting to more than a million cash which was bank-in by debtors but not taken up by my AR staff. Check with my management accountant, he said can take in as Jan'08 collection..offcourse it's my benefit so I told my staff to take into SAP before I re-print the reports.

Busy...busy...busy but still have sometimes to chat with Budlee..hehe. Today I also rec'd few gifts from my colleagues, CNY angpow from Penang consultant, 2 magnetic dolls from my supply chain manager who just came back from Shanghai, China and a Tiger eyes bracelet from my Commercial Manager...thanks so much to all of them.

Mahmud called me at 4pm to inform that he'll pick me up at my office afterwork since some of our friends is attending conference at KLCC. Hey..people offered to send me home, never reject...hehe.

As usual, when there's a festive's season. They'll never fail to forget me if they plan to go for any outing..we are so close friend. We were sharing general topic, self-development and discuss about the trip to pangkor island till 8pm before mud sent me back to klang station to pick up my car. Thanks to mud :-)

A surprise call from a friend in Dubai

On 3/2/08 at 7.29pm...ring..ring..ring, the number appeared on my handphone is 0302..I just thinking should I answer or not ? NVM, just answered the call..what a shocked and surprised moment for me to received a long distance call from a good friend...Saiful Azly..who worked as an architect in dubai just to wish me "Happy Chinese New Year". I really feel so touched...lama borak pula tu :-) Indeed my best friend...thank you so much. Wish he and the family will have beautiful life always !!!

Taman Tasik Shah Alam

Today morning, I went for jogging with Mahmud at Taman Tasik Shah Alam. Mud told me why he choose to go there because he just love to see the scenery so much especially in the morning. Usually we go to Bukit cahaya for jungle trekking.

Oh..No ! The longer I stay here, my hand can't stop from taking out my hp in my pocket to take those nice scenery here. Suddenly, I noticed some noise come from my foots..Alamak ! Kasut tercabut.
What a shame moment..l went back to my car for a change, luckily I have spare shoes in my car but it's not for jogging, I just couldn't bother since mud & me has not done 3km yet !

After we had done, we go for breakfast nearby before proceed to Kompleks Taman Seni Islam because mud wanted to get a book.

I asked mud, hey..we are wearing short pant u know, tak akan la nak masuk camtu jer..mud said ask permission from the counter first la...at least respect la..Luckily the Kakak very friendly, she even show mud where's the book located. Look at the picture below :-

Bird Nest

I'm suffered a cold cough badly without telling my mum. Situation become worsened till I keep coughing in the middle of the night. My lovely mum prepared and boiled "bird nest" for me that I bought in Miri, Sarawak. She put some "chinese pao sam" to boiled with the bird nest. After eating, I'm completely cured on the next 2 days, offcourse I don't take cold drink, salty and sour food. If not, it'll wash away my mum effort and wasted my money..hehe

Meet up with Audit friends

Yeah ! Finally wilayah earn extra public holiday on Thaipusam day. thanks to PM :-)

Since today is a public holiday for KL so I take this chance to meet up with Awie and budlee at Metropoint, kajang.

When I arrived in metropoint, 3 of us hang out at Starbuck to wait for Aie. Since I know starbuck provide free wifi...offcourse I'll not forget to bring my laptop..hehe.

While waiting for Aie, Awie was surfing YM with bernard and budlee taking his picture. Suddenly I saw a person walking toward our sitting position...hey is Syafiq.

We were waited for Aie till around 5pm but he's still not appear yet...terrible. At least sms us la if not coming. Then we decided to go for bowling.

Look at the scene I took, I dun have to say much..by seeing their action..I knew they are talented in bowling..Me is not good :-( long time never play already..huhu.

We were bowls till around 7.45pm, I felt tired and a bit hungry so we decided to end the game and go home.

I left to puchong to pass thai notes to my girlfriends who'll be leaving to bangkok on the next day. Reached home around 9.30pm, after taking late dinner, I still on9 with Budlee and my friends. Being a air stewardess, how can they be so blur and never do homework on bangkok trip??? Luckily I helped to booked on accomodation and exchanged thai notes for them. Where to find a friend like me la...sent to doorstep somemore...really pamper :-). In addition, I also brief them on bangkok tourist places thru MSN.
