Prayers for Nenek and Atuk ( Cheng Meng )

Today woke up at 6am, drive mum to go for cheng meng prayers at my Nenek and Atuk grave. I was prepared to face the jam but didn’t expect it would be so bad, stranded in the car for more than 3 hours…terrible. Tak breakfast lagi tu, kesian my mum :-(

Terrible jammed

Reaching the place, car can’t go up to the hill, not much choice I have :-( I parked my car and walked to find my nenek & atuk grave. So many years I didn’t visited their grave since I move to my new house…find and find…couldn’t find. I’m so worry because the whole place was so much changes…so much worried…sweating under the hot sun. I asked my mum to wait for me from far with an umbrella so she don’t have to walked with me since my car can’t drive up due to the jammed. As I walked and find under the hot sun, my mum was looking at me from far till I found. It take me almost 45minutes to find, I almost lost and almost cry if I can’t find since I come so far….keep praying and speak out “Atuk..Nenek..where are you? Let me find your grave. I almost drop my tear”. The moment I found my grandparent grave I’m so happy. Below is the pictures I took from my grandparent grave. so nice..still maintained clean :-)

My mum told me that “kesian anakku, sweating like shower when searching for my grandparent grave". At least I managed to find kalau tak risau giler.

CNY gift from my company

As usual every year when Chinese New Year festive season is coming, my company will give a small gift to everyone in the office as a token. This year I got a packet of Mushroom, 2 packets of groundnut, some oranges and lime oranges. Don’t mistake about the new dollars notes, that’s mine…hehe. I changed it from the bank to give my mum for preparing “ang pow” and the empty packets of small ang pow envelope was given by the bankers.

Last December’07, I took my mum for a vacation to Bangkok. I met a plain cloth Thai policeman in front of central world shopping mall while I’m taking the photo of 5 faces Buddha statue located in front of the shopping mall.

I was told by the policeman that the jewellery distributor mainly supply to POH KONG Jewellery in Malaysia was having promotion on all gem stone, diamond, ruby stone, blue sapphire stone and etc from 20% to 25% on top of manufacturer price. This special promotion only opens to public for one day in a year only. My mum always wanted to have a Blue Sapphire Stone with diamond pendant. It’s really my lucky day…thanks to the Thai policeman.

Blue monday and busy with management reporting

Since last friday is a public holiday for KL, for sure today I'll be busy preparing reports for my Finance Director. As usual I wake up at 6am and prepare to go to work. Reached office at 7.45am, since no one come in yet then I take this opportunity to print out those required reports before my colleagues came in...too bad only 2 laser jet printers..hehe.

Before start prepare my report, I take a cross check on CAMS first..wah..seem like there are few transactions amounting to more than a million cash which was bank-in by debtors but not taken up by my AR staff. Check with my management accountant, he said can take in as Jan'08 collection..offcourse it's my benefit so I told my staff to take into SAP before I re-print the reports.

Busy...busy...busy but still have sometimes to chat with Budlee..hehe. Today I also rec'd few gifts from my colleagues, CNY angpow from Penang consultant, 2 magnetic dolls from my supply chain manager who just came back from Shanghai, China and a Tiger eyes bracelet from my Commercial Manager...thanks so much to all of them.

Mahmud called me at 4pm to inform that he'll pick me up at my office afterwork since some of our friends is attending conference at KLCC. Hey..people offered to send me home, never reject...hehe.

As usual, when there's a festive's season. They'll never fail to forget me if they plan to go for any outing..we are so close friend. We were sharing general topic, self-development and discuss about the trip to pangkor island till 8pm before mud sent me back to klang station to pick up my car. Thanks to mud :-)

A surprise call from a friend in Dubai

On 3/2/08 at 7.29pm...ring..ring..ring, the number appeared on my handphone is 0302..I just thinking should I answer or not ? NVM, just answered the call..what a shocked and surprised moment for me to received a long distance call from a good friend...Saiful Azly..who worked as an architect in dubai just to wish me "Happy Chinese New Year". I really feel so touched...lama borak pula tu :-) Indeed my best friend...thank you so much. Wish he and the family will have beautiful life always !!!

Taman Tasik Shah Alam

Today morning, I went for jogging with Mahmud at Taman Tasik Shah Alam. Mud told me why he choose to go there because he just love to see the scenery so much especially in the morning. Usually we go to Bukit cahaya for jungle trekking.

Oh..No ! The longer I stay here, my hand can't stop from taking out my hp in my pocket to take those nice scenery here. Suddenly, I noticed some noise come from my foots..Alamak ! Kasut tercabut.
What a shame moment..l went back to my car for a change, luckily I have spare shoes in my car but it's not for jogging, I just couldn't bother since mud & me has not done 3km yet !

After we had done, we go for breakfast nearby before proceed to Kompleks Taman Seni Islam because mud wanted to get a book.

I asked mud, hey..we are wearing short pant u know, tak akan la nak masuk camtu jer..mud said ask permission from the counter first la...at least respect la..Luckily the Kakak very friendly, she even show mud where's the book located. Look at the picture below :-

Bird Nest

I'm suffered a cold cough badly without telling my mum. Situation become worsened till I keep coughing in the middle of the night. My lovely mum prepared and boiled "bird nest" for me that I bought in Miri, Sarawak. She put some "chinese pao sam" to boiled with the bird nest. After eating, I'm completely cured on the next 2 days, offcourse I don't take cold drink, salty and sour food. If not, it'll wash away my mum effort and wasted my money..hehe
